FOR PRIVATE PAY CLIENTS:
I understand that paying out of pocket for therapy services can be expensive. It often requires a forfeiting of other desirable purchases. Let me help you decide how to economize during this journey, should economics become an issue for you. I offer PayPal services, limited payment plans for qualified clients, affordable support groups, and also will help you reduce the number of sessions you are having as soon as that seems an appropriate recommendation. For example, you could come for sessions two or three times a month, instead of weekly, if necessary.
FOR INSURANCE CLIENTS:
I will be happy to comply with the use of your therapy benefits through your insurer, however, I do not bill directly with any insurance other than MultiPlan and its subsidiaries. In most circumstances, you will be able to give your payment receipts to your insurer and they will either apply your payments to your deductible or may reimburse you according to the terms of your “out of network” provider policy. I will provide you with a paid invoice receipt at the start of each calendar month, which will outline the dates seen the prior month, along with a DSM Diagnosis and a CPT Billing Codes.
Please be aware that you are forfeiting some of your confidential rights and freedoms, as outlined under the HIPPA handout that will be provided to you during your intake session.
DESPAIR & SUICIDAL FEELINGS:
If you are feeling despair and suicidal please contact me immediately, stating that there is an emergency on my answering machine, and I will call you back immediately after I receive the message. Also, please call The National Suicidal Hotline: 1-800-784-2433. If you are in danger, call 911 or Sonoma County Psych Emergency Services. Their number is: 707-576-8181 or 800-746-8181. DO NOT WAIT FOR MY RETURNED CALL.
I frequently treat clients with dual diagnosis; however, generally speaking, my scope of practice is limited to those clients who do not have a Personality Disorder diagnosis, such as Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorders.
